I love the vibe at His men’s store in the Cedros district in Solana Beach. For clothes that “fit”, this local store is a gem. The store is well stocked on apparel that ranges from some high end denim (Hudson, Nudie and the like) to classic surf brands like RVCA, Nixon, People’s Movement and Pantofola d’Oro shoes.
My pick from the store … This amazing Triumph motorcycle buckle belt.
His is located at 143 South Cedros Ave. Suite K, Solana Beach, CA 92075. Stop by if you are in the area.
Sid Mashburn is a true Southern gentleman whose namesake store in Atlanta serves as a delightful experience for men looking to upgrade their wardrobe without thinning out their wallets! Sid’s resume included stints at J Crew and Lands’ End before realizing his vision of creating the perfect suit for about a grand!
The aforementioned perfect suit has all the hallmarks of quality natural shoulders, handsewing, and a fit that is just perfect! Sid has a partnership with an Italian factory that supplies the “Sid Mashburn suit” with a full canvas, side vents, darts, and a ticket pocket. I got mine in a classic navy in a fabric that is very breathable, will travel well and has a rare blazer like look that can be easily paired with denim.
The store is warm and inviting with a classic old school feel to it – SM label shirts, blazers in linen and wool, shoes by Alden, Edward Green and accessories for gentlemen – watches, belts, cufflinks, shaving kits and wait … gear for audiophiles! Sid Mashburn sells records, Project turntables to spin them on, speakers and amps!
Sid has an amazing staff and in my opinion unparalleled customer service and attention to detail. Matt Lambert – thanks for taking care of me and for the cold Stella! Can’t wait for my suit and linen jacket to arrive.
Sid Mashburn is a true destination spot for gentlemen. Looking forward to my next visit there!
I came across these 2 classic beauties in Carlsbad, CA parked at our local 24 Hour Fitness gym. Notice the two plates? One’s from the East Coast (New York) and the other from the West Coast (California). Pretty cool!
