Bloomingdales has announced their Beatles themed clothing campaign to celebrate the Fab 4’s 50th anniversary. The clothing line and related accessories include suits, overcoats, bomber jackets, t-shirts, shirts, sweaters, cufflinks and bags. The department store also has struck a deal with The Beatles’ Apple Corp. company to sell handkerchiefs packaged in replicas of the band’s classic albums. The shots appearing below were taken at Bloomingdales in Fashion Valley, San Diego.
Beyond the Fab 4, the department is also celebrating Brit culture in general with a collection that offers 250+ exclusive items from 50 UK based brands like Paul Smith, Barbour, Hardy Aimes, Bespoken and Burberry. Add some Brit style to your wardrobe this fall.
For 3 days only, Allen Edmonds has an extra 25% off their clearance shoes and accessories online. Here are the select styles that caught my eye although the selection is pretty good all in all. Free shipping and returns to boot.
Everything at the Mettler’s American Mercantile in Philadelphia is made in America. The store is Lou Mettler’s vision realized in creating a specialty store that sells 100% US made goods. Mettler is a 20 year veteran of the fashion industry working alongside Ralph Lauren and then as one of the founders of Tommy Bahamas. There are two Mettler stores in Michigan and one in Philadelphia.
I loved my visit to the store and found an assortment of shirts, ties, shoes, belts and even funky speakers (Scout) all made proudly in the US of A! I ended up purchasing an Armstrong and Wilson tie and a houndstooth pocket square. Great customer service (thanks Ann-Marie) made for a great experience overall.
