A beautiful cabernet that was a gift from a dear friend a couple of years ago. I finally uncorked it with my dinner at Market restaurant in Del Mar this weekend. This cab is a fruit bomb – jammy and lush with a great finish. It was a nice accompaniment to the cast iron roasted prime beef tenderloin steak with horseradish shredded potatoes, Broccolini Sauté, Roasted Tomato, Bacon.
