Actually I should say my new “Gently Used” Harley because that’s what it is. Last week I discussed my Harley fever and yesterday I bit the bullet on an 2007 XL 883 Low Sportster. Found this beauty on Craigslist, took my buddy Lou with me, struck a deal with the owner and just like that, the beast occupied his space in my garage 🙂
So here are the essentials on a real Harley Davidson Classic.
Practically brand new with 2,700 miles.
Pacific Blue Pearl with Chrome Spoke wheels.
Garage kept under cover, never been down or dropped.
Gets 46-50 MPG
Veypor VR2 computer Tach/Speedo/HP and Torque Dynamometer/Fuel tool box see http://www.veypor.com/veypor.html
Large 4.5 Gal gas tank (not the peanut tank)
Upgraded HD seat.
Chrome: rider pegs/passenger pegs/ shifter
Removable Passenger Pillion
PowerSTAR Performance Spark Plugs (Better low end torque and more MPG) see http://www.PowerSTARsparkplugs.com
10mm Screaming Eagle wire set
Thanks Louie for riding it home safely for me! Here’s a pic of Lou on the bike.
And here’s me hyper excited with my new toy …
At ~$5K, this was a pretty sweet deal! I have to now hustle and get my license and hit the road.
