Espadrilles For Summer

Espadrilles are casual flat sandals originating from the Pyrenees. They usually have a canvas or cotton fabric upper and a flexible sole made of rope or rubber material moulded to look like rope.  An easy slip on shoe for a breezy look during weekends, the airy fabric and light construction make these a perfect summer option.  3 of my favorites:

#1. Gatsby Lost Azul ($225) made by Stubbs and Wootton Palm Beach, purveyors of hand made slippers.  http://www.stubbsandwootton.com/

#2. Castaner ($145) sold by MR.PORTER.  http://www.mrporter.com/

#3. Tom’s (About $50) sold at  http://www.toms.com/

For every pair of TOMS Shoes purchased, a pair of new shoes is given to a child in need. Over 1,000,000 pairs of shoes have been given to children under the One for One movement since TOMS launched in 2006.  The canvas shoes have been given to children in more than 20 countries worldwide, including the United States (Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi and Florida), Argentina, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Guatemala, Haiti, and South Africa. TOMS are sold at more than 500 stores nationwide and internationally, including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Whole Foods, which features styles made from recycled materials.  Look good and feel good with Toms!
